Code

Remember when we used to speak in code?

When we were young and were too shy to communicate like the rest of the world -

I loved you then. I love you now.

Love isn’t black and white like in movies.
It’s complicated, and sometimes you can’t help but sympathize with both sides - also like in the movies.

There was a typo in the last posts. It was a big one.

So tonight I can’t seem to get to sleep.

Mellow people are my favorite.

Winter Deep

When you’re young, you feel invisible.

I wonder how many people have written or said that same sentence - word for word.

How do we function as adults when we know we’ve felt happier and purer, kinder and bolder when we were new to the world?

And when winter comes, the cold brings in the sharp thoughts that tear us apart,

So we sleep when we can, but no one can rest for too long,

And people are always knocking.
