listen
I don’t want to hear about your accomplishments.
I don’t want your list of dids and dones.
I don’t care for the gold you made,
The price you’ve paid.
—
I don’t want your plastered mask so carefully set.
I don’t want the humble brag you meticulously let.
—
Don’t fill my life with all that noise.
We’re all just growing girls and boys.
—
We need some peace — simplicity.
So cool it down. That’s my one just plea.

Code
Remember when we used to speak in code?
When we were young and were too shy to communicate like the rest of the world -
I loved you then. I love you now.
Love isn’t black and white like in movies.
It’s complicated, and sometimes you can’t help but sympathize with both sides - also like in the movies.
There was a typo in the last posts. It was a big one.
So tonight I can’t seem to get to sleep.
Mellow people are my favorite.
